Traditional Chinese Art and Culture at The Mallory

Hong Kong Association was organising this Exhibition and Cultural Event at 7 Mallory Street (Green House), Wan Chai on the weekends 12/13 and 19/20 January 2019. They aimed to promote traditional Chinese culture and offered a platform for Chinese calligraphy sharing and appreciation while enhancing the quality of life of the community through art and culture. The theme resonated with the historical significance of the renewed building at Mallory Street.

Traditional Chinese Arts and Crafts (Calligraphy Exhibition and workshops) dured the weekend 12/13 aimed to arouse interest in the Mallory Urban renewal project and traditional Chinese arts and crafted with particular reference to the Lunar New Year celebration. The local community as well as visitors were provided with an opportunity for the appreciation of Traditional Chinese Arts and Crafts.

In the following weekend 19-20 January, Hong Kong Association co-organized with G.O. MARKET, during which a series of traditional Chinese art and cultural activities crossover with local innovative and eco-friendly arts and designs. They aimed to promote a green society and an eco-friendly, low-carbon lifestyle.
